Mentawai Islands earthquake rocked back. This time a magnitude 5 earthquake on the Richter Scale (SR) and no potential to cause tsunami waves. Epicenter located at 99.74 3:59 LS-BT or 89 kilometers southwest of South Pagai and 105 kilometers southwest of North Pagai, Mentawai, West Sumatra.

Two killed in Serbia earthquake
Two people were killed and around 100 were injured when a magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck central Serbia overnight, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said Wednesday. The earthquake happened at 1:56 a.m. (just before 9 p.m. ET). The epicenter was near the city of Kraljevo, about 80 miles south of the capital, Belgrade.

An outbreak of severe diarrhoea has killed at least 135 people in rural central Haiti and left sick hundreds more, who overwhelmed a crowded hospital on Thursday seeking treatment. Health workers suspected the disease was cholera, but were awaiting tests.
